JANE'S CREATIVE CLUB
Would you like to meet others who share your love
of sewing and embroidery? Every month I present
a new idea or project or technique that you can use with
your embroidery machine. Do you want to learn new embroidery
ideas or project ideas that you can use with your Viking or Babylock
machines? You will see what others have embroidered with their
machines. We have a time for ‘Show and Tell’ where you can bring
in your projects to share with the other members. Do you have questions
that you want answered? Want to find out about the latest notions?
You can bring any questions. Come and join the fun each month.

I teach
in both Neal's locations so make sure you know where
the class will be held.
Hands-On classes are limited
to 4 or 5 persons, depending on the class.
Classes are on a first
come, first serve basis.

have a project that you would like to have some help?
Do you want to get together with others that like to sew? Then this
is the class for you! Bring any sewing project and your sewing
machine or serger and I will help you with your project.

PILLOWCASE– A Sewing Class for Kids
For those (9 years old and up) that have
taken Sew Kool for Kids classes or have had some sewing experience, this
is an easy pillowcase with a contrasting cuff that you may embellish or use
a contrasting fabric! You will learn the easy ‘hot dog’ method of making
an enclosed cuff. The pillowcase is seamed together with a French
seam so that it will not ravel. If you use a plain fabric for the
cuff, you can select decorative stitches to embellish it! Select a
pillowcase print that you like and learn to make a pillowcase! Class
size is limited to 4, so sign up early!

EMBROIDER A T-SHIRT OR SWEATSHIRT
Bring your ready-made T-shirt or Sweatshirt(either
a crew neck or a V-neck) and you will embroider a design on it! You
will have a choice of 2 designs. Or you may bring your own design!
You will learn placement, stabilizing and how to handle a ready-made.
Bring your machine and embroidery unit and thread. Jane will supply
the design and the stabilizers!

MAKE A SWIMSUIT THAT FITS
Just in time for spring and summer!
Learn to alter an easy tank suit pattern to fit you and learn to sew the swimsuit.
The best part of this class is the pattern is customized for you! Class
designed for any sewing machine that has a zigzag stitch. You may also
use a serger if you want. You must pay for the class to reserve your
spot! Class size is limited so sign up early!

SPANISH HEMSTITCH TEA TOWEL OR TABLE RUNNER
This is a short class to get you started
with your Spanish Hemstitch foot. You can use a border that you have
created with the endless hoop or a plain border or a printed border. Bring
them and learn how to make a tea towel or table runner and attach the border
with the Spanish Hemstitch. The technique that you learn will help you
in making pillowcases or even a blouse front. This stitch looks like
what our grandmothers would do by hand!

FABRIC FOLDING CONVERSION SWEATSHIRT
In this class you will learn how to make
a design using fabric folding. You may use your fabric folding designs
on a conversion sweatshirt or a pullover sweatshirt a jeans jacket, or even
a cotton sweater. Any machine may be used for this class as it is mostly
straight stitching. Sign up early to reserve your spot.

RECYCLED JEANS BAG– A Sewing Class for
Kids
For kids that have taken Sew Kool for Kids
classes or those (9 years old and up) that have had some sewing experience,
this is a fun bag. Do you have a pair of favorite jeans that you have
outgrown or they have too many holes in the knees? You can make them
into a bag to use for books or a purse (small size) or ANYTHING! Decorate
it and tie a scarf in the belt loops to make it especially yours.
Class size is limited so sign up early! You must pay for the class
to reserve your spot! Kids classes fill up fast!

SCREEN BEACH BAG - A class for Adults
Are you ready for summer and the beach or
the swimming pool? You will enjoy this bag made from screening.
A pocket on each side and an easy zipper in the top!
Enough room for your towel, swimsuit, flip flops, etc. I
use my bag to take my towel, etc, to my water exercise class year round!
Sign up early as this class will go fast. You must pay for the class

TIE PURSE
Do you have some of your husband’s old ties? Or maybe some favorites
that your father had? These purses will be a way to keep them.
You may want to make these as gifts for someone special or as a keepsake
for yourself. You can be as creative as you want!!

SEW KOOL 4 KIDS
This is a class for kids (girls and boys) ages 7 to 12. (7 and 8 year
olds must have an adult with them.) If you do not have a machine, you can
use one of ours. We will be using the book, Sew Kool 4 Kids written by Martha
Pullen and her daughter, Joanna. Multi-sized pattern are included with
the book.
In the first class, we will learn some sewing machine basics and then make
a simple project -a Book Cover.
In the second class, the students will and a Hair Scrunchie and choose to
make shorts, pants or crop pants or a simple skirt. The students will
learn to use a multi-sized pattern to get a perfect fit. They will
cut out their project and start to sew it together.
In the third class, the students will finish the project that they started
in Class #2. What a great way to learn to sew!
Class Size is limited to 4, so sign up early! There are several sessions
of the Sew Kool 4 Kids. Pick the best session for your schedule.

KLEENEX BOX COVERS– A Sewing Class for
Kids
For kids that have taken Sew Kool for Kids classes or those (9 years old
and up) that have had some sewing machine experience, this is a fun class.
You will make a fabric cover for your Kleenex box for your desk or room and
also a decorative cover for a purse sized Kleenex.
Class size is limited so sign up early! You must pay for the class

Screen Beach Bag– A Sewing Class for Kids
Are you ready for summer and the beach or the swimming pool? You will enjoy

A Sewing Class for Kids
Would you like to made an outfit to match the outfit that you made for yourself?
In this class you will make one or two things for your 18” doll. You
can create what you want for your doll. This class is for kids that
have taken Sew Kool for Kids classes. Class size is limited so sign
up early! You must pay for the class to reserve your spot! Kids

THE ANYTHING BAG– a Sewing Class for Kids
For those (9 years old and up) that have taken Sew Kool for Kids classes
or have had some sewing experience, this is an easy bag! You will put
in a very easy zipper and learn to quilt fabric together. It is a perfect
bag to use for slumber parties for your toothbrush, comb, etc. It could
also be used as a pencil and school supply bag. It can be used for
ANYTHING! The finished bag is approximately 8” wide and 7” tall.

will learn about fusible interfacing and lining a bag and creating decorative
handles. A wonderful gift that you make yourself! The finished
bag is approximately 7” wide and 8” tall. Class size is limited so
