JANE'S CREATIVE CLUB

Would you like to meet others who share your love of sewing, quilting, serging, and embroidery? Every month I present a new idea or project or technique that you can use with your embroidery machine. Do you want to learn new embroidery ideas or quilting ideas or project ideas that you can use with your sewing or embroidery machines or your serger? You will see projects that others have created with their machines. We have a time for ‘Show and Tell’ where you can bring in your projects to share with the other members. Do you have questions that you want answered? Want to find out about the latest notions? You can bring any questions. Come and join the fun each month.

Creative Club Meets in Geneseo at Quilts-n-Blooms:
First Wednesday of the month at 10 a.m., 2 p.m. or 6 p.m.  and
In  Muscatine at Neal's Vacuum and Sewing Center:
Second Wednesday of the month at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Class Fee: $5.00 payable when you come to Creative Club. No reservations needed!

 HANDS-ON CLASSES
Below are the classes that I am teaching and the times they are being held. 
I teach at both Quilts-n-Bloom in Geneseo and Neal's in Muscatine so make sure you know where the class will be held.
Hands-On classes are limited to 4 or 5 persons, depending on the class.  Classes are on a first come, first serve basis. 
We need 2 persons registered to hold a class.
For the classes in Geneseo, call Quilts-n-Blooms (309) 944-8739 or stop in the store.
For classes in Muscatine, call Neal's (800) 362-4543 or stop in the store or go to the Neal's website - Neal's Sewing Centers . 
Paying for the class in advance reserves your spot.

JANE’S FAVORITE BLOUSE


 
This truly is my favorite blouse pattern.  It is a basic blouse with an easy fit and 6 different looks.  I will help you fit the pattern to you. I will bring a ‘trunk show’ of the many ways that I have changed the pattern.  Once the pattern fits you, you can have a whole wardrobe of blouses using the same pattern without looking like you have used the same pattern.  The most important part of this class is getting your pattern to fit.  You will have some sewing at home afterwards to finish the blouse.  This is an intermediate class, not a beginning class. You must have basic sewing knowledge and experience to take this class.  Class size is limited so sign up early!  You must pay for the class to reserve your spot!

PILLOWCASE
Hot Dog Method - Sewing Class for Kids and Beginners
 

Kids and Adults love this pillowcase!  This is an easy pillowcase with a contrasting cuff and a trim between them!  You will learn the easy ‘hot dog’ method of making an enclosed cuff.  The pillowcase is seamed together with a French seam so that it will not ravel.  Select a pillowcase print that you like and learn to make a pillowcase!  Class size is limited so sign up early!  You must pay for the class to reserve your spot!
